This is where it all started for me. You can draw a straight line from this piece all the way up to present day. As I edited this (in a linear suite, on 3/4" tape!), I discovered my true calling in life: to make silly sports videos with far too many cuts. And I'm still doing it today.
This segment earned me my very first EVVY Award nomination. A lifetime of nominations unencumbered by wins would follow.
As an added bonus, this clip includes the two famous EIV Sports promos from the 1995-96 school year: the "Smokin' Joe at the EIV Sports Desk Promo", and the "EIV Sports Team Men's Room Promo".
